Passages
This has been a hard week. David's beloved uncle, Al Geduld, passed away on Sunday. For those of you who don't know, this is Chuck's stepdad and just all-around amazing and inspiring person. We will be heading to New Mexico on Sunday for his memorial (we are actually leaving Friday for Costa Mesa and Phoenix - that's a whole other story). It's hard to not be there right now. We feel strangely detached and in limbo.

In the meantime, I am just going to post a few pictures from our visit to Portland to meet our new nephew, Noah. The full album can be viewed and downloaded here.

Perfect little angel, followed by...

KABOOM!

Da López boyz

What we were saying

What we were thinking

This could be the start of a smile or a meltdown, it's hard to say

I love this, they were instantly 10 years old when they came across these monkey bars

Love love love

Fireworks, Candy, & Puppy Dog Store!

Geese need to cross the street, too, you know.

"The Magic Is In The Hole"

Visiting our awesome cousins in McMinville. "David! David! David!" SO CUTE.

Someone's in the kitchen with Lisa (hint: it's me). She made us a ridiculously amazing Greek meal. The woman is a food virtuoso.

Lawrence and Noah really hit it off.

Heart exploding with proximity to adorableness

My little friend here gave me a FULL rundown of her trip to see The Phantom Of The Opera in Portland. So you can see why we are soulmates.

(side note: I'm not sure where all the pics of Maddy got off to, I will have to add some, I know there are a ton)

Wherein we learn that Juliana is a musical genius and has possible prodigy-level capabilities

Smoke bombs, still fun after all these years

Happy family

Again, we had a wonderful time with you two. I wish it wasn't so long in between visits.

LOVE the pictures. I'm catching up on blogs today, and I went down memory lane as I saw that picture of David holding and looking at Noah because I have one of him with my children like that!!! Time passes so quickly and yet stands still. Love to you two!!
