A Few Things That Have Been Going On Since Then
Now that I've finished posting about the trip, I can share a little of what has been going on in the last 6 weeks or so.
We finally got an adult, grown-up, full-size couch!
It's red and velvety and so very very soft. This brings us much joy.
David became a godfather.
Kieran on his big day, being adorable.
There was a surprise party for Beth's birthday.
As tempting as it may be, if you are driving to Las Vegas and are hungry, do yourself a favor and do not eat at the Mad Greek in Baker.
We went to meet up with my cousin Carlo from Sicily. He is so great!
This might be my most favoritest picture of Uncle Don ever.
David, Carlo, and Carmelo get down Vegas-style.
Gabi and I totally rocked the Rapid Roulette! I left up $50 and we played for a long time. She is super good luck.
The kids together at Caesar's Palace
Waiting to see Mystere
at Treasure Island. It was my first Cirque de Soleil and it was seriously amazing. Now I want to see all of them.
We really had such a great time. On Sunday after the Albuquerqueans left early, David and I made one last round in the Paris resort. I found the Phantom slot machine and just had to give it a whirl:
Oh, I discovered those secrets, yes I did. $70 worth of secrets! Take that, Vegas!
The drive home
It's funny to see you both in Las Vegas, because it's so....not you. :)
Looking forward to meeting your velvety new couch. I have plans for it. Oh yes, do I have plans.
