This weekend was a patchwork of thwarted fun followed by improvised, unplanned fun that was probably better anyways.

David and I saw a beautiful film this weekend called Once and holy yumtastic, that is some good, good stuff. It's sort of a musical. Ish. It's about music. It's about what goes into making one perfect album. If you're feeling sentimental, go see it. It's so lovely. The music is so good that we had to go get the soundtrack the next morning.

isn't glen hansard a revelation?! he's come a long way since 'the commitments.' you should really check out his band - the frames - if you're not already familiar with them.

I AM NOW INSANE WITH THE SOUNDTRACK AND CAN'T STOP LISTENING TO IT AND NEED TO OWN EVERYTHING HE'S EVER DONE.

I haven't been so in love with a musician like this since Jeff Buckley.

...oh my god, did I just say that?
