I just found out that my all-time favorite artist is going to be writing a musical. "That's nice, Adriana," you're thinking. "You should be glad."
NOT WHEN THE MUSICAL IS THE ONE THAT YOU'VE BEEN PLANNING ON WRITING FOR ABOUT FOUR YEARS AND EVEN ALREADY HAVE WRITTEN STUFF FOR AND HAVE BEEN DAYDREAMING ABOUT ALL THE TIME AND IS FROM SUCH AN OBSCURE STORY THAT NO ONE REPEAT NO ONE ELSE SHOULD EVEN KNOW ABOUT IT AND IT FELT SO VERY MUCH LIKE IT BELONGED TO YOU PERSONALLY AND YOU WERE PLANNING TO START WORKING ON IT AFTER YOU FINISHED YOUR CURRENT MUSICAL PROJECTS.
Not then, friends, not then.
I can't even...I just...wow.
David and I are really going to have to mourn this.
Keep writing it. Just because this person is writing one does not mean that you are to stop. You need to put down the songs that have been given to you and continue as if you're the only one writing. This musical has been in your head and heart for too long - Complete your current task, and then, you stay focused and follow your dreams!!! Prairie Momma | Homepage | 06.24.07 - 10:54 pm | #
