David and I got to meet and hold this Little Lulu last night: (I stole this picture because I didn't have a camera last night) Mom, Dad, and baby all seem to be doing EXTREMELY well. Like, shockingly so. They're all beam-y and glowing and stuff. The baby is, at this point, really mellow. We'll see how long that lasts, but wow. I got to hold her for about 20 minutes and she barely peeped.

The hills of Burbank are one giant sandstorm due to INSANE winds and the aftermath of a fire. The mountain behind the lot looks like it's on fire with dirt. I've never seen anything like it. I was walking during lunch and actually got blown over, like right out of some Buster Keaton flick. It was bizarre. Again, I don't have a camera today so you'll have to use the awesome power of your minds to imagine it.

New headshots tomorrow. Yeep! Tons of last minute preparations. Nails, clothing alterations, skin stuff, last minute shopping, teeth, errands everywhere, sheesh. Oh Calgon, where are you when I need you?

Eeeeee! Headshots!

I am inordinately excited. :P

Coincidence - I was just in my very first sandstorm. I didn't know how "common" they were, and as I was driving between Suez and Cairo there whipped up this bloody great , world-obscuring, throat-destroying, mess from the desert that did not entirely go away for the rest of the day. There was a little sand in the air the rest of the day, with the wind, even after it let up. It was still rough, but not nearly what it had been. As I lay down to sleep that night, I definitely knew I had been aspirating sand for a good part of the day.

Mimi - YES!!! They went really, really well. Obviously I'll post pics when I have them.

Don - but just think, it was EGYPTIAN dirt. You were almost killed by the most historically rich dirt on the planet. PS It is SO FREAKIN RAD that you are having these experiences, and I recommend everyone go check out his site.

Xixi - please send me your Flickr linky thing, as yes, I am on there as well (although not amazingly active).
