There has been a lot. I've been out of town, and in transition with jobs. I'm not going to get into it, save a few things.

Lizzie Lulu, daughter of Allen Lulu and stepdaughter to Beth Lulu, passed away on Friday afternoon. She had just turned 13 a few days previously. She had suffered all her life from Cystic Fibrosis and complications from it. Allen's blog describes it all much better than I could. Suffice it to say, our hearts are heavy. They are sitting shiva this week which is a very beautiful process with which I am quite impressed.

There's also been a lot of love flying around lately, and a lot of hugging and connection and grace. I hope you are feeling it, too, in your way. Here, have some of mine.

And some news. We were selected to perform a showcase at the North by Northeast music festival in Toronto next month. It's kind of sort of a really cool and big thing. Someone in Canada likes us. Does anyone happen to know anyone there?

So sorry for your friends. To live through your child's death must be to experience an unimaginable heartbreak. I will keep your friends in my prayers.

The Northy by Northeast festival is wonderful news though. Congratulations on having so many Canuck fans!
