Well for a moment I was going to practical joke it and say we were pregnant or something but I know that it would cause aneurysms and no one would realize it was April Foolz. So forget it. NO JOKES FOR YOU.

Speaking of jokey ha-ha, I'm sad because Mitch Hedberg died. We almost went to see him on three different occassions this last year, and it never worked out. It just goes to show that you should always go see the artists you love, because you never do know. One of the first things I did upon moving to New York was check the papers every week for Jeff Buckley (I didn't know he was in Memphis at the time), and not three months later he was dead. I shall regret not seeing him live for all of my days.

I'm finally catching up with all the nerds and reading the Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy books. It's definitely funny and amusing, but I'm not sure it has the impact that it would if I were reading it at fifteen. I can definitely see how it influenced so much of what I have seen and loved in its genre. The movie looks like it will be great fun, especially because of a certain Mr. Alan Rickman. Ahhh.

People have been quiet lately. Mercury got your tongue?

Yay, enjoy Hitchikers! I guess it does have more impact in the old teen years, but... I did reread the first one just last year!
