Oh, thank god, thank god!!

Today I got to read applications for my mom's memorial scholarship. I can't tell you what it's like to see her name on a scholarship. It was inspired thinking on my aunt's part. The essay was "How the Holocaust has influenced my views of social justice." It's exactly what mom would have wanted. My heart swells.

What a wonderful achievement. I'm not sure there's anything better than a memorial scholarship -- college is so formative and this will give a gift to strangers for a very long time. I'm always amazed and greatful for what the scholarships I had gave to me. Congratulations on this.
