I find it interesting that y'all will comment to death about Jesus but not a word about the Pythons or haunted wine cases. Where are your priorities, people? My friend Maure is keeping an eye and has additional info on the dybbuk story here. Oh, by the way, not that I want to give this any more airtime, but Mel thinks his wife is going to hell for being Episcopalian. Poor guy.

It's Friday the 13th. I think for witches that is supposed to be lucky. Bullocks for the rest of you.

Tomorrow, my dear friend Beth is getting married to a very fine fellow, Allen. It's a truly great match. They are both funny, wacky, weird, wonderful people and it's pretty magical that they found each other. A word, too, about following instincts: Beth was very lonely in New York and had a string of bad relationships. It wasn't until she moved to LA on really just a whim that she found her life partner. So, if you're feeling some weird draw to move to Paris, maybe you should just do it. Pierre, the motorcycling poet juggler, might just be looking for you.

I don't know. I'm happy to see weddings happening this year. There has been a lot of despair and I'm glad to see people continuing to put faith in Love, and not the GW Bush kind either. It's their own version, that they are writing themselves. I'm especially happy when things like this happen, because dammit even if there is a lot of protest, the fact is that it's happening, and a bunch of complaining conservatives can only stem the tide for so long.

PS--I am feeling better, must have been a 48-hour tumor. Not totally up to scruff yet, but soon.

It was probably just bubonic plague. Don't worry -- I get it about once a year, and it goes away on its own.

So long as Gibson ain't directing the Python movie -- though the "Ministry of Willy Walks on Water" has potential.

Darn it, meant "silly walks on water" now my post looks like a dated Clinton joke.

Up to scruff... how low do you have to be for "scruff" to be up?

Yeah, it's easier to comment on Jesus than Python. I mean, you say the wrong thing about Python and you might offend some people.
