Today is Samhain, or what's considered New Year's Eve for many Celts and the like. The veil is thin, and all spirit is close. I remember those who are gone from my sight but haven't left me, and I can feel their breath moving me forward. It is a time to make resolutions, and to look back on the year with thanks for its harvest. Even the darkest gifts given this year were gifts all the same, and I accept them. I don't think I'll be out of the Elderbush for some time yet, but at least I know my way around the thorns now.

May everyone have a safe, blessed, and possibly spoooooky evening.
